Since the very start, the principle inspiring Titanmed has always been the quest for top product quality. Still today, the company continues to invest major resources to these ends, in order to broaden the offering of different types of surface treatment of implants.
Despite the fact that Titanmed's traditional surface treatment of sanding + acid etching has been successful for over 13 years, in order to offer implants that perform better and better, Titanmed has decided to make the most of its technicians' experience, placing the most advanced technology available today at their fingertips. Therefore, from this project sprang the new "SL Titanmed " and "DM Titanmed" treatments.
Up to par with the traditional treatment, the new "SL Titanmed" is based on an initial phase of sanding followed by acid etching, but it distinguishes itself in the use of different elements and techniques compared to the traditional treatment, which yield better results, comparable to the analogous "SLA™" treatments used by the most prestigious international brands.
Instead the process of performing the "DM Titanmed" treatment does not entail sanding, but rather repeatedly going over the surface with mordanting.
In addition to these two treatments, Titanmed offers other choices, like for example the Osseotite™ and “TU” treatment, the latter comparable to the renowned TUnite™ of Nobel Biocare™.
As a guarantee that the required quality standard is maintained, Titanmed entrusts performance of tests and lab analysis on the surface of the implant to external independent laboratories specialised in implantology, among which are the laboratories of the Turin Politecnico and University, whose competence and reliability are renowned the world over.
